All faculty, staff and students are provided a CougarNet/ Exchange email account. Students should receive an @cougarnet.uh.edu email account within 48 hours after being admitted.  

Faculty, staff, and students are also assigned a UH email alias. UH will use your email alias as official communication to send important university information such as emergency closings and information from your college or department.
