How long do positions have to be posted before hiring?

The initial posting period is 5 business days for non-exempt, 10 business days for exempt. Non-exempt (hourly) positions may be posted for up to 3 calendar months; exempt positions (monthly) may be posted for up to 6 calendar months. If you need a 30-day extension to review applications received you must contact your Employment Representative to request the extension. No additional applications are forwarded after the closing date.
