What is Human Development and Family Studies? What can I do with this degree?

Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS) focuses on the life span development of individual, small groups and families. Students who major in HDFS are interested in human service related employment or graduate schools. Teacher certification is available. American Humanics certification (a program which prepares student to work in non-profit management) is also available.
