What is credit by exam? How do I submit the credit I have received?
Credit by exam is the process of earning college credit by taking and passing an examination that demonstrates mastery of a subject. The credit may be earned in high school through the Advanced Placement (AP) program or on campus by taking a departmental examination, College Board Achievement Test, or CLEP (College Level Examination Program) Test. Check with University Testing Services, 204 Student Services Center, and see http://www.uh.edu/academics/catalog/general/admis.html#credexam for a list of exams and credits accepted by UH departments.
You may also contact University Testing Services to submit scores for tests already taken.
