I was accepted to UH, but I failed a section of the THEA Test. Will I still be able to attend UH? Will THEA failure affect my course selection?

The Texas Success Initiative (TSI) is not an admissions test. It is simply designed to pinpoint any areas of academic weakness. Your TSI scores can affect course placement, but they do not affect your admission to the University. To discuss TSI requirements and exemptions, go to the Undergraduate Scholar Academic Advising Center in room 320 Student Service Center. Additional TSI information may be found at http://www.usd.uh.edu/tsp/taspidx.htm. If you have questions about which courses to take to fulfill your degree requirements, consult your academic advisor.
