The Topic drop-down menu gives you a way to nararticle your search, if you choose.
For example, let's suppose you are a current student and have a question about how to get a copy of your transcript. By selecting "Records and Registration" from the Topic drop-down menu and typing "transcript" in the search box, you will only see those answers about transcripts that relate to current or former students. If you leave Topic blank and type "transcript" in the search box, you'll get answers from Records and Registration as well as all the answers about transcripts from Admissions. Many Admissions answers deal with incoming students and their transcripts from high school or other universities.
If you're not sure which Topic to use, you can just leave the Topic field blank and search all the Get Help answers at once.
