1.) Log into your Microsoft 365 account: https://login.microsoft.com/ 

2.) Enter your Microsoft 365 email address.

3.) Click Next. 

4.) Enter your CougarNet password.

5.) Click Sign in. 

6.) Enter this code on the Microsoft Authenticator app.

7.) Tap Yes. 

8.) Click the name by the ellipses.

9.) Click View account.

10.) Click Security Info.

11.) Click Add sign-in method.

12.) Select a sign-in method. (Note: In this example, alternate phone was selected.)

13.) Enter a phone number.

14.) Click Next. 

Note: This screen appears and then a phone call comes in to verify your number.

15.) Enter the # key when prompted.

16.) Click Done.

Note: The alternate number is now listed as another authentication method.
