The Student Health Center facilitates the reporting and communication functions on behalf of the university. The Student Health Center does not interpret/update a student's visa status, residency or determine who the university requires to maintain health insurance.
You must be enrolled in classes for the term assigned to the current Open Enrollment/Waiver period and have been charged the health insurance fee. The health insurance fee is posted based on your visa status and residency status.
The University must submit an eligible-to-enroll list to Academic HealthPlans each term. During the ENROLLMENT ACTIVATION and WAIVER period, uploads from the university will be processed daily at approximately 6:00 AM, 2:00 PM, and 10:00 PM. After the health insurance charge has been posted to your university account, allow approximately one (1) hour after the next scheduled upload before attempting to ACTIVATE your enrollment or submit a WAIVER.
If you have enrolled in classes and continue to receive this error message: This is usually caused by inaccurate information in your university account. If you have not been charged the health insurance fee, contact the International Student and Scholar Services Office prior to the posted deadline to review that your visa and residency status are correct.
