The Remember me for 30 days option is grayed out. How can I activate it?

If you set the Two-Factor Authentication method default to automatically send a push, you will need to disable this setting before activating the Remember me for 30 days option. Here's how:

  1. Click cancel on your push request.
  2. Check the "Remember me for 30 days" box.
  3. Authenticate using one of the following options:
  • Generate a passcode by clicking the down arrow (located in the upper right-hand corner on the Duo mobile app on your smartphone) or by pressing the green button on your token/fob. Enter the six-digit passcode in the Two-Factor Authentication portal. OR
  • Click Send Me a Push in the Two-Factor Authentication portal. Go to the Duo mobile app on your smartphone or tablet and Accept the push.

Note: If you are using a Mac and are unable to select the "Remember me for 30 days" follow these steps:

1. Using Safari, Log into access.uh.edu

2. Go to Safari Preferences/Privacy tab/ and remove the check mark in Prevent cross-site tracking.

3. Remove check mark from Website tracking (Prevent cross-site tracking)

4. Refresh web page and you should now be able to now check and enable Remember me for 30 days

**Note** This will apply to Mac OS and iOS mobile devices.
