Is my phone capable of Wi-Fi calling?

The four major cellular carriers support Wi-Fi calling, below are links to cellular carrier Wi-Fi calling FAQs. Please follow the steps to enable Wi-Fi calling on your carrier supported smartphones.

 

If you have already enabled Wi-Fi calling on your devices then simply connect to the University's Wi-Fi, your device will automatically switch calling functionality to the strongest signal available.

Note: Cellular carrier use of Wi-Fi calling while roaming in building or between floors is not just dependent on Wi-Fi coverage but the cellular carrier technology to maintain calls as your devices jumps from one Wi-Fi AP to the other. The same is true for Wi-Fi AP to a cellular tower. Your calling experience will vary.
