How do I get the MAC address for my Playstation 3 or 4?

To find the MAC address for your PlayStation 3 (PS3) or PlayStation 4 (PS4), follow these steps for each console:

For PlayStation 3 (PS3):

  1. Turn on your PS3 and go to the XMB (Cross Media Bar).
  2. Navigate to the Settings menu.
  3. Scroll down and select System Settings.
  4. In the System Settings menu, choose System Information.
  5. Look for the MAC Address listed under "Ethernet" or "Wi-Fi" (depending on which connection you're using).

The MAC address will be displayed as a series of 12 alphanumeric characters (e.g., 00:1A:2B:3C:4D:5E).

For PlayStation 4 (PS4):

  1. Turn on your PS4 and go to the Settings menu.
  2. Scroll down and select Network.
  3. Select View Connection Status.
  4. The MAC Address for both Wi-Fi and Ethernet (if applicable) will be displayed on this screen.

The MAC address will appear as a series of 12 alphanumeric characters, like 00:1A:2B:3C:4D:5E.
