How do I get the MAC address for my Playstation 3 or 4?
To find the MAC address for your PlayStation 3 (PS3) or PlayStation 4 (PS4), follow these steps for each console:
For PlayStation 3 (PS3):
- Turn on your PS3 and go to the XMB (Cross Media Bar).
- Navigate to the Settings menu.
- Scroll down and select System Settings.
- In the System Settings menu, choose System Information.
- Look for the MAC Address listed under "Ethernet" or "Wi-Fi" (depending on which connection you're using).
The MAC address will be displayed as a series of 12 alphanumeric characters (e.g., 00:1A:2B:3C:4D:5E).
For PlayStation 4 (PS4):
- Turn on your PS4 and go to the Settings menu.
- Scroll down and select Network.
- Select View Connection Status.
- The MAC Address for both Wi-Fi and Ethernet (if applicable) will be displayed on this screen.
The MAC address will appear as a series of 12 alphanumeric characters, like 00:1A:2B:3C:4D:5E.
