I'm having trouble logging in with my CougarNet account password.

There are several reasons why your CougarNet account password may not work:

  • Your account may be locked. The CougarNet system will lock your account if you attempt to login with a failed password multiple times. Wait 5 minutes and the account should unlock.
  • Your password expires every 180 days. Use the CougarNet Password Wizard to reset your password.
  • Your account may be disabled. If you are a current student, faculty or staff, contact the Help Desk to have your account re-enabled again. Please contact us at 713-743-1411 or Chat with us to report the problem.
