I'm having trouble logging in with my CougarNet account password.
There are several reasons why your CougarNet account password may not work:
- Your account may be locked. The CougarNet system will lock your account if you attempt to login with a failed password multiple times. To unlock the account, simply do not login to your account for 5 minutes and it will unlock on its own. If you are still unable to login to your account after the full 5 minutes, please contact the Help Desk at 713-743-1411 or Chat with them to report your problem.
- Your account password may be expired.The CougarNet account passwords expires every 180 days.If it has expired, use the CougarNet Password Wizard site to reset your password.
- Your account may be disabled. If you are a current student, staff, or faculty, you may contact the Help Desk to have your account re-enabled again. Please contact the Help Desk at 713-743-1411 or Chat with them to report your problem.
