The standby list is a list that is put out right before each class. If students did not register for a seat in the class or were on the waiting list, the time the class began, they may sign the standby list. At five minutes after the class begins, if there are any open seats the open seats, are given to people on the standby list on a first come first serve basis. You must be present to get a seat from the standby list. All students on the standby list are asked to wait outside the classroom door until being called in by the instructor.
