I am a UH faculty/staff member and I would like a copy of Office 2010.  Where can I get a copy and how much does it cost?

UH Faculty and Staff members can obtain a copy of Office 2010 at no cost, via digital download. Please visit http://software.uh.edu/ to download the software package of choice. Departments can also have a CD burned on the spot for $10 at the UIT Support Center located in room 58 MD Anderson Library (in the basement). Payment for this service can be made with P-Cards, SC vouchers, or university-issued checks.

Office 2010 can be used on-campus for university business as well as installed on faculty and staff personal machines.

Office 2010 does not require a license code and uses the campus Key Management Server (KMS). For information on how to properly register your copy of Office 2010 please click on the link below:

***NOTE: For departmental installations of Office 2010, UIT recommends consulting local/departamental IT support staff before attempting to install the software, and to use the college/division IT support staff to assist with installations.

For more information contact the UIT Support Center Help Desk at 713-743-1411, e-mail support@uh.edu, or visit the UIT Support Center in room 58 MD Anderson Library (in the basement). In addition, please consult the UH Get Help system, located at www.uh.edu/gethelp/ for answers to common inquiries.
