What is Energy Star?

The Energy Star program is a joint project of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Energy that identifies energy-efficient models of many popular electronics, appliances, and devices.


Energy Star products save money by reducing energy costs, save energy by reducing power consumption demands, and reduce negative impacts on the environment. Energy Star products are widely available and can be purchased at comparable prices to non-Energy Star products.
