Has Microsoft changed the User Account Control (UAC) in Windows 7? Am I going to be prompted over and over for everything I try to do?

User Account Control (UAC) has been the biggest pain for Windows Vista users because Windows Vista always asks for the administrator permission, if the user wants to do something specific in the operation system. The users are able to turn off the UAC but then the protection through the UAC is not there anymore.

Microsoft has changed the engine for UAC in Windows 7. It reports significantly less than before and is also adjustable in several stages. You can find the User Account Control Settings in the Control Panel under User Accounts.
