How do I change my ADMIN password on my Mac using SSH?

ADMIN customers running Macintosh OS X using dataComet-Secure for ADMIN sessions can change their temporary ADMIN password using Terminal.
To open Terminal

1. Go to Applications \ Utilities
2. Double click on Terminal
3. At the command prompt, enter the following:
ssh -l [ADMIN user name] [name of server to connect to]

For example, it should look something like this:

ssh -l hsupaxxx admin2.uh.edu

4. Press Return. Using the above example, the following would appear:

Unauthorized Access is Prohibited. Use of University of Houston computing and network facilities requires prior authorization. Unauthorized access is prohibited. Usage is subject to security testing and monitoring. Abuse is subject to criminal prosecution. A complete manual of security policies and procedures is available at http://www.uh.edu in the Administration directory.
hsupaxxx@admin2.uh.edu’s password:

5. Enter the temporary password.
6. You will be prompted to enter (and confirm) new password.
7. After the new password has been accepted, users can quit Terminal.
8. You can now log in to ADMIN with dataComet-Secure.
