What is the difference between a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.)?

Candidates for the B.A. degree must complete 8 credit hours in a single foreign language. Candidates for the B.S. degrees in Humanities and Social Sciences must complete 3 semester hours of mathematics course work and an additional 6 semester hours in math reasoning courses, plus an additional 3 semester hours in either math, natural science, or computer science(for a total of 12 semester hours). Candidates for the B.S. in Criminal Justice must complete 3 semester hours of mathematics course work and an additional 6 semester hours in mathematical reasoning( for a total of 9 semester hours). For complete degree requirements, consult the college of your major.
