The Graduate Records Exam (GRE) is taken by individuals applying to graduate schools. The test is available on paper or by computer. The format is mutiple choice with two scored essays. Free practice material is available when you register for the exam.

The general test is composed of analytical writing, verbal and quantitative sections.

Subject tests are paper based tests in 8 subject areas and assume that the examinee has majored or has extensive knowledge in the subject. Subject tests are available in Biochemistry,Cell and Molecular Biology; Biology; Chemistry; Computer Science; Literature in English; Mathematics; Physics; and Psychology.
