WebCT stands for Web Course Tools. Many instructors use WebCT to supplement their classes. WebCT offers discussion boards for class discussions, chat rooms for live discussions, centralized email so you can stay in touch with your professor, and even a way to submit assignments and take exams.

WebCT Vista is the new version of WebCT. Classes are gradually moving to Vista. By Spring 2005, all WebCT classes will use Vista.
