You should immediately complete a lost/stolen report and obtain a replacement permit. The cost for a replacement permit is $20.00. If a reported lost or stolen permit is found on a vehicle, the car will be immobilized (booted/towed) and the violator will be charged $150.00 ($100 use of lost/stolen permit, $50 tow, plus any other violations). Permit holders are responsible for citations issued to their permit regardless of vehicle ownership.
